You have had an opportunity to explore an ecosystem in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  Now perhaps you will take a look at the ecosystem to which you belong through new eyes.  You may be surprised to discover what is going on in your own backyard.

Students from all around the world are striving to make a difference in their natural communities locally, nationally and globally.  There are many organizations that have been established to aid young people in their quest for a better world.  You may want to check out groups like EcoKids!, the Johnny Appleseed Junior Ecology Club, or Kids For a Clean Environment to see what they are doing in your neighbourhood.  And if you can't find someone who has started a project already you can show your own determination to help out by beginning something yourself.

I hope we can all work together, wherever we are, to make our world a clean and safe place to live.
