| Al-Hijra's
school library is ever flourishing with approximately 3000 titles
including fiction, non-fiction, encyclopedias, Arabic, Islamic, and Qur'an
books. These are open to the school and community. The school
also offers video and audio tapes, CD-ROM, computer and internet,
magazines, and pamphlets.
Al-Hijra's school library titles are all catalougued with the Dewey Decimal Classification system as many public libraries are around the world. This way our students will benefit to their maximum ability and will not only be provided with a variety of selection but also be taught about bibliographical data, genre, and proper cataloguing. |
